MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC | Founder & CEO

Tiruwork Hiruy is a distinguished Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of nursing experience, including more than a decade dedicated to psychiatric care. A proud graduate of Walden University, she earned her MSN with honors and has since worked across psychiatric hospitals, medical facilities, and nursing rehabilitation settings.

At the core of Tiruwork’s philosophy is patient-centered care. She is dedicated to enhancing emotional well-being by crafting individualized treatment plans that address the root cause of symptoms. Her approach uniquely blends evidence-based traditional medications with non-pharmacological interventions and nutritional adjustments.

Her ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, and socioeconomic conditions underscores her unique approach to delivering empathetic, culturally sensitive care to patients across the lifespan.

Dr. Codie Vassar

Dr. Codie Vassar, MD

Supervising Physician

Dr. Codie Vassar serves as the Supervising Physician for Integrated Psychiatry Service, providing medical oversight, clinical leadership, and collaborative guidance to ensure safe, high-quality psychiatric care across the practice. Board-certified in Psychiatry & Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology, Dr. Vassar supports evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for a broad range of mental health conditions.

In his supervisory role, Dr. Vassar works closely with psychiatric providers to promote clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and adherence to best-practice standards. He provides consultation on complex cases, supports medication management oversight, and helps guide risk assessment, quality improvement initiatives, and continuity of care.

Dr. Vassar earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his psychiatry residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals. Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Vassar values culturally responsive care and supports our mission in delivering accessible, coordinated behavioral health services.

Tsigereda Alemayehu is a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides thoughtful and compassionate mental health care. She works with individuals to understand their concerns and supports them in finding practical ways to improve their emotional well-being.

Her approach focuses on listening, respect, and collaboration. By creating a comfortable and supportive space, Tsigereda helps patients feel heard and involved in their care while working together toward healthier coping skills and improved quality of life.

Michael Tsovko

Michael Tsovko

MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC | Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Michael Tsovko is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry. He combines seven years of specialized experience with a heartfelt commitment to empathetic, patient-first care, ensuring young patients and their families are met with deep understanding and clinical expertise.

Michael has extensive experience treating a wide range of mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, autism spectrum disorder, and ADHD. He is highly skilled in both acute care and outpatient settings, particularly working to support younger populations as they navigate complex emotional and developmental challenges.

Educated at Texas State University and Walden University, where he earned his Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Michael prioritizes evidence-based interventions and comprehensive assessments in his practice. He strives to build a collaborative, trusting space that fosters open communication, meaningful change, and mental health advocacy within the community.
