Hands-On Training

Gain real-world experience through direct patient care interactions. We do not use virtual sessions for preceptorship training.

Expert Mentorship

Work in close collaboration with Tiruwork Hiruy, our experienced, ANCC Board-Certified PMHNP.

Limited Enrollment

Our program is highly competitive and is strictly limited to 2 students per semester to ensure quality education.

1:1 Ratio

A direct, focused learning environment ensures optimal engagement, active learning, and personalized clinical guidance.

Student Placement & Requirements

To ensure a rigorous and fulfilling clinical experience, we have established the following requirements for all incoming PMHNP students:

  • Clinical Schedule: Students will be scheduled for at least two (2) 8-hour shifts per week for the normal 12-13-week semester.
  • Honorarium: We require a clinical preceptor honorarium per semester/quarter from students requesting clinical hours.

Important Note: We do not offer psychotherapy at our practice. Therefore, this clinical rotation will not fulfill university requirements for dedicated psychotherapy hours.
